This still red wine was born in 2009, the year the “Nuovo Corso” began, whose symbol is the wave drawn on the label. From the first year he has seen vines born and grow. Today the Cesanese di Affile grapes come from the Paliano vine and a parcel of the Serrone vine.

Vintage on the market: 2022

Type of soil in the vineyards: Soils composed of sands and clays from marine sandstones with oxides generated by volcanic ashes.

Vine training system: Guyot and spurred cordon.

Harvest period: 1st week of September. And 4th week of September.

Spontaneous fermentation in cement with a percentage of carbonic maceration that varies from year to year. Maturation in large Slavonian oak barrels. Yeasts, enzymes and any other adjuvant for the vinification and maturation of the wine have not been added. Clarifying decantings were carried out according to the lunar phases. Bottle refinement from 6 months to 1 year. The wine is not filtered before being bottled and for this reason it may show a light natural deposit at the bottom of the bottle after some time.
